How is the Real Estate Tax handled in Greene County?
The County Assessment Office,
with the Commissioner of the Revenue, assesses real estate in Greene County and the Treasurer collects the real estate tax. The
current real estate rate is .72 cents per $100 of the assessed value. Payments should be made to the Treasurer's Office in two installments due June
5th and December 5th.
