The Commonwealth Cup
This annual event (last Sunday in September) is held in Goochland at the South Ceres Farm in the fall.
It is the largest attended polo match in the country.
The best players from the Commonwealth of Virginia compete against an all-star team from Great Britain.
The Commonwealth Cup includes wine tasting and helps raise money for the non-profit Goochland Fellowship and Family Services that

Deep Run Hunt Club - A premier fox hunting club located in the rolling hills of Goochland County.
The foxhunting season is October until March with three hunts a week.
Of special interest is in November when riders meet at an early Thanksgiving service at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and then
arrive at Sabot Hill to participate in a foxhunt tradition decades old -- one of three formal days the club holds each year.
